“Things are never quite as scary when you have a best friend.” -Bill Watterson

I first met Anya when she was in her mummy’s tummy. She and her bestie Alice were born just a few days apart and we were all quite excited for their little bestie session at Mayfield Lavender near London. Alice was a little dubious about the whole thing and so we’re going to do some more photos another day to get her usual smiley self. But I just couldn’t resist sharing these – I even love the one of her crying I think it shows the truth about how these sessions sometimes go. You just have to chill and let them do their thang. I ordered some stunning head pieces from America for their session which didn’t come in time so we’ll get to use those in our do-over session!

Due to my hectic weddings schedule I’ve been pulling back on family and children sessions so as a pretty sure way to get one in the lavender, I open a few sessions each summer. You can put your details here to make sure you’re the first to know when the dates are open for booking.

The pettiskirts and vintage pram are mine and available for any little gals who’d like to have them for their session. Just ask!
