“There’s nowhere else like London. Nothing at all, anywhere.” -Vivienne Westwood
Sometimes you just gotta go with tha flow, ya know? My late morning session with Natasha & Co. was meant to take place at the quirky Leadenhall Market, an adorable Victorian throwback location. However when we arrived, it was all scaffolding and workmen (who weren’t looking too camera-ready).
We found a scaffolding-free lane to do a few first shots and then walked around the corner to Bank Street Underground Station area and took advantage of the gorgeous overcast light.
It’s funny…people often think that sunshine is what I’m after. But when I wake up on shoot-day to clouds, I do a fist pump in the air because it’s so freeing. I can shoot in any location I want, from any direction I want. I’m in charge and the sun can’t do a thing to stop me. It’s like being inside a luscious soft box.
Thank you to this gorgeous family for having me make their portraits. And if you’re looking for a makeup artist, Natasha ain’t too shabby! Her website is pretty so check’er out –> Honestly Gorgeous.
