Like many modern couples, William and Amanda met online. Also like many modern couples, their wedding plans were thwarted by Covid. But we prevailed and gotterdone.

“I truly lack the words to express how thankful I am to have worked with Elizabeth. Firstly, she was so flexible and understanding when our lives were turned upside down by COVID – she even offered to come to us to take the pictures if we couldn’t come to her. Talk about incredible!”

William and Amanda are gamers who met in their game a decade ago and have had a long-distance relationship that whole time. One is American, one is Canadian. So I felt really honored to be documenting them finally coming together in an act that will make it possible for them to live in the same country together finally.

Fun fact: this was my very last photo session with my beloved 5Dmkiii camera before upgrading to mirrorless. Like William and Amanda, we’ve also been together for a decade!

We flipped the script and went to Central Park in Lake Mary for their portrait session before the ceremony which took place at Seminole County Courthouse.

It’s so common for people to tell me that they “don’t photograph well” or aren’t “photogenic” or just generally shy and they don’t know how to act in front of the camera. With me, you don’t have to worry about that at all—I guide you through everything so you can just focus on your day.
