Romantic, atmospheric wedding shoot for a couple who got married at the courthouse.

Not all courthouse wedding shoots happen at the courthouse. Many times, a couple who choose to have a micro or intimate wedding will arrange to meet me somewhere completely different for their wedding photo session. On this occasion, Shelley and Rick took a road trip with their family from Vermont to Orlando for a Disney vacation featuring their wedding at the Seminole Country Courthouse.

I was so pleased that Shelley found me when researching their photographer options. She said, “we’re country people. We don’t need a photoshoot in the city.” I immediately knew the perfect location would be Moss Park in East Orlando. We opted to do their shoot at sunset and -boy- was that a good call!

Shelley and Rick have the most beautiful family. Their kids are so sweet, kind to their siblings, and they loved having their photos taken together and on their own. It’s really a joy to photograph kids who are into being photographed.

All in all, it was a really special evening and we had a great time together.
