Holy heck Zoe + Joe’s engagement session was worth the drive to our location in East Sussex. Lewes to be exact. We took these photos on a super charming farm they visit regularly.

With it being spring, the farm had many fresh little lambs and calves and chickens who were up for a little party time. I’ve always wanted a session to include chickens so this was a tiny little dream come true.

The light was incredible and towards the end, we ventured into a forest we instantly realised was carpeted in wild garlic. Imagine a forest of fresh garlic smell…it was incredible (I say ‘incredible’ quite a lot don’t I). Zoe and Joe are hobby shooters and they love their gorgeous rifles. We incorporated them into a few shots at the end and I think they look like naturals with those things!
Overall, Zoe and Joe are pretty special and their wedding day is going to be splendid I’m very much looking forward to telling their story through photography.
