Dan & Claire got hitched at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park. Richmond Park has always been close to my heart as a photographer. In fact, it’s where we did their engagement session last winter.

So….the wedding! Claire & Dan are one of my most memorable couples. I won’t ever forget them. They live and love with their WHOLE hearts. I don’t know if I’ve ever known a more juicy couple. Claire particularly…she ooooooozes light and joy.

We started the day by covering them both as they got ready at the Richmond Hill Hotel. I (Elizabeth) covered the gals with Aaron on video and Mark & Dan covered stills and video of the guys.

Pembroke Lodge is such a gem of a location in London. I love a wedding which all happens in one place. Ceremony and reception all took place in the one spot with an outdoor patio with views above the park and the sunset! Aaaah. The natural light flooding the lodge made us a very happy team of photographers.

Because the lodge is right in the middle of the park, it gives parties instant access to the beauty of the gardens of Richmond Park. With the flowers in full bloom, taking Claire & Dan out for their Mr & Mrs shoot was magical. Look at those colours!

This was one of two weddings for Dan & Claire. The second took place straight after in India and I must say I’m pretty jealous I didn’t get to be involved! But they brought India to all of us with a surprise flashmob from the Bollywood dance troupe Bollywood Vibes. It was SO. ELECTRIC. I’m a music nerd and always cry at live performances (lame but true) and this one was no exception. I cried tears of joy behind my camera because it gave me such massive feels.
