Liberty’s senior session was all about books, vibes, and juicy gorgeous light.
I don’t often get to spread my wings and do shoots that aren’t weddings or couples. So when a childhood friend asked me to do her daughter’s senior session, it was an instant yes. We talked about wanting to bring through 70’s vibes, 90s grunge, and Liberty’s love of books.
This session happened in three chapters. Chapter 1 started out in The Green Room which is a room in my own house that people rent on Peerspace for photo shoots. I get so envious seeing the photo shoots that people pull off in there and was so excited that the goals for Liberty’s session matched the vibes I’ve curated in that room.
Next, we headed to Book Rack in Ocoee which is a used book store that kindly allowed us to spend some time taking photos there.
We then grabbed the last moments of light to take Liberty’s most quintessential senior photos—the cap and gown. We thought we were done but on the way home, the light was PERFECTION so I pulled over for us to take the last shots in a grassy field.
I feel so fortunate to get to do this work every single day and for the people who trust me with their most vital milestones. Thank you for having me, Liberty!
