Ashley & Sebastian were my 256th courthouse wedding but Gracie May Photography’s 2nd wedding in a courtroom with a judge

I was a bit jealous when my associate photographer Jennifer got to do a wedding inside a courtroom at the Orlando courthouse and on this day in August, I got my turn when Ashley and Sebastian asked me to be the photographer for their ceremony with judge Jeanette Dejuras Bigney.

There are so many things to say about this wonderful day. Firstly, their friends and family were incredible. It was a very joyful, uplifting experience getting to witness and capture this very happy occasion and their happiness was palpable. This is why I do what I do—I truly have the best job.
Judge Jeanette’s courtroom was really nice and looked great on camera and she was SO NICE and happy to be doing this marriage ceremony. She gave us a lot of time to take photos before we headed out for the usual courthouse wedding type photos and this makes their gallery truly unique.

Another feature of this wedding that made my heart siiiing was the way they styled themselves. All the colors in their clothing (and that incredible bouquet!) perfectly fit the warm and earthy style they requested for the editing. It was just *chef’s kiss* perfecto.

After their ceremony and family photos, we adventured around the immediate area around the courthouse and ventured just far enough for those iconic shots with the courthouse in the background.
Thank you so much for having me, Ashley and Sebastian, it was a memorable one!
