Christian & Lindsey are a darling couple that got married in an Orlando Courthouse Wedding. Their green and champagne color scheme was just *chef’s kiss* perfection.
This wedding took place on a sunny day in October starting at 2pm.
Christian and Lindsey brought a quiet confidence to their Orlando courthouse wedding. You can see it in the way they move together—his hand reaching back for hers as they cross a downtown street, that laughs mid-lift in the middle of the road, the calm of her leaning into him against a marble column. They weren’t there for a big production. They came to marry each other, look incredible doing it, enjoy the afternoon, and that easy energy is exactly what makes these images sing.
A green and champagne color palette
Let’s start with the styling, because these two nailed it. Christian in a deep forest-green suit, Lindsey in a champagne satin gown with a one-shoulder drape. The whole palette is understated and rich. Green and champagne isn’t a combination I see often for a courthouse wedding, and it photographed like a dream against both the warm interiors and the neutral-colored downtown streets. When a couple puts this much thought into their look, my job gets a lot easier.
From the ceremony room to the streets of downtown Orlando
They said their vows in the small ceremony room at the Orange County Courthouse, then we headed out into downtown Orlando for portraits. This is my favorite thing about courthouse weddings—the city itself becomes the venue. We used the courthouse steps and landscaping, the crosswalks and tree-lined avenues, the tall downtown architecture, and a few shaded spots along the sidewalk columns. A lift in the middle of the street, a walk hand-in-hand, a quiet moment tucked against the building…courthouse weddings give you range if you know where to point the camera.
They brought their own Super 8 — and yes, I offer that too!
One detail I love: Christian and Lindsey brought their own Super 8 video camera to capture their day on film.
