There are a lot of cliches about photographers and I hate almost all of them. To get things straight…I don’t lose my shit when I see a bridge and train tracks are not the best place to take pictures. One cliche I’ll totally own is that I. LOVE. GOLDEN HOUR.

Whenever clients ask me what time they should book their courthouse appointment, I recommend the last appointment of the day. Half the year sunset is at 9pm but the other half it’s early enough that we have time to catch some of the most luscious light you’ll have ever seen.

Eugenie and Chirag invited us to capture their Valentine’s Day wedding with photography and video. We did some of the things we commonly do with our clients (hello, champagne spray!) but we also had a little picnic with a tiny wedding cake and I think it ended up being so friggin cute.
