Sydney & Jordan’s purple-soaked Winterbourne Inn micro wedding was an utterly STUNNING springtime display of love and togetherness.

Sydney and Jordan had an incredibly fresh, bright, and stunning micro wedding for their closest friends and family at the Winterbourne Inn in Orange Park, Florida.
I arrived before the ceremony to get tons of detail photos and -whew!- THOSE DETAILS! What a beautiful use of color to pull it all together. Wherever you looked, you’d see delicate shades of purple—lavender and lilac to be precise.
Note that inside the Winterbourne Inn, the walls are yellow and I changed that in editing because the couple didn’t like it and it didn’t do the purple any favors.

Jordan is a sneakerhead for real (Nike Jordans to be exact) and he had custom Jordans made for the day. Sydney walked the aisle in custom Vans.

The Winterbourne Inn is located right on the St. Johns River and it’s a dream wedding venue for so many reasons. From the oak trees draped in Spanish moss to the water views right behind the wedding ceremony spot, every corner of this property exudes natural beauty and classic old Florida vibes.

Watching everyone hang on the porch after the wedding breakfast, I remember thinking that this must have been what it was like in the turn of the century when people in the south sat on the porch drinking ice tea like in the movies. It was honestly so delightful.

For the reception meal, Sydney and Jordan did breakfast because—duh—breakfast is the best meal at any time of the day.

Can we take a moment for this freaking cake?! Sydney’s literal dream-come-true. She dreamed this up when she was a little girl and her friend ____ made it a reality. I’ve been doing this wedding thing for 16 years now…over 400 weddings…and this is the prettiest, most fascinating cake I’ve ever seen. You could look at it over and over and see new things nestled in there like profiteroles, macarons, cookies, cream puffs, and ice cream cones.

And to top it off, the dessert table in general was a beautiful display of sweet treats.
Sydney’s dress was from ______ and featured an overskirt and matching veil with (of course!) delicate and beautiful shades of purple.

Clearly, I could go on and on about this perfectly executed micro wedding but I’ll let the photos take it from here!
