What should you expect from having a content creator on your wedding day?

We’re a team of photographers, videographers, and content creators in Central Florida. With the Gracie May Photography team, you have options for so much more than just stills photography to help capture the story of your special day.

We provide the highest quality photography, cinematic videography and content capture for Central Florida’s weddings, micro weddings, and elopements.

If you’re planning an elopement or an intimate wedding, you’ve likely already ditched the traditional wedding playbook. You’re trading 200-person guest lists for meaningful moments, and 12-hour timelines for something that actually feels like you. You’re prioritizing intimacy over extravagance. You want to focus on your love, not logistics.

Videos ready to share before the ink on your marriage license is dry

As your photographer, I’m there to document your day in inspired frames and candid shots that will live on your walls (and lock screen) for years to come. But I also know that you want to live in the now. You want to share that “we just did the thing!” feeling ASAP.

That’s why I also offer content creation for my couples.

It’s not a replacement for a cinematic video, and it’s definitely not “just someone on a phone.” Here’s why this is the perfect addition to my photography and how it’s different from cinematic video production so you can make the right choice for you (or have us for both!):

1. The Timeline: Instant Gratification vs. The Long Game

Cinematic Videography: Between color grading, sound mixing, and narrative editing, your video is a masterpiece that takes weeks to perfect.

Content Creation: Built for the now. My goal is to have tons of raw clips and social-ready posts in your inbox within 24 hours. You can post to your stories while you’re still at the airport heading to your honeymoon.

2. The Vibe: Raw & Real vs. Polished & Produced

Think of a videographer as a film director and a content creator as your most aesthetic-obsessed best friend.

Videography uses professional cinema cameras to create a video that becomes a family heirloom you’ll still be watching in 20 years. It’s like the difference between your polished wedding album versus a pile of perfectly imperfect polaroids.

Content Creation is vertical, candid, and captures the in-between moments. It’s the behind the scenes look at your wedding that feels authentic, unposed, and perfectly you. It’s what you would hope to get if your BFF was really, really good at making videos on their phone.

3. Audio: The Soundtrack vs. The Atmosphere

Videography is where you go for the crisp, clear audio of your vows or crafted soundscape from the day. We use professional mics to capture audio and your movie is edited with music of your choice. We can even take audio from a scene of your favorite love movie and fuse it with music.

Content Creation audio is lo-fi and captured from the device’s microphone. Mainly, the clips are meant to be edited with trending audio from Instagram or TikTok.

4. Final Product: The Music Video versus the Vertical Edit

Videography produces a final product that feels like a movie trailer or a music video. It incorprates slow motion footage and creative cuts and transitions. It’s HD and landscape orientation like you’d see on a TV or your computer screen. It’s delivered as one final, fully edited movie usually 2-3 minutes in length.

Content Creation final product is (at least) 1 edited reel/tiktok from us that is ready to pair with your favorite song or trending audio and posted within 24 hours of your wedding. Other ready-to-use clips are delivered in a downloadable drive ready to save directly to your camera roll.

5. File organization

Using Google Drive means it will be extremely easy to pick a clip, save to your own camera roll and start sharing!

We may record hundreds of clips in one day and delivering each and every one individually could get overwhelming. We organize files by Timeline Segments for example:

  • 01_Getting_Ready_Details
  • 02_Ceremony
  • 03_Portraits_BTS
  • 04_The_Celebration
  • 05_Edited_Reels (The finished, ready-to-post videos)

Examples

At the top of this post is an example of a content creation reel produced by my content creator within 24 hrs of a couple’s wedding. And below is the polished movie produced by my videographer.
