Caswell House Oxfordshire Wedding // Oxfordshire Photographer

“Oh Elizabeth, they are the most stunning photographs we have ever seen. We are both in tears (separately) at our desks! Storytelling at its finest, the whole day has just been re-lived.” -Alexandra + Azhar

Alexandra & Azhar’s wedding was the first time that I (Elizabeth) wasn’t present. I usually act as principal photographer, however the photographers who’ve been working with me for all these years are superb at delivering the Gracie May Photography style so we gave it a go and it worked out so beautifully!

Mark & Gemma shot the wedding and I edited. A match made in heaven. I love my team!

Since I’m not able to write a gushing editorial about their day, allow bride Alexandra to share her take on the experience…

Dear Elizabeth,

Azhar and I just want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to Mark and Gemma, who made us feel completely at ease in front of the camera on our special day. I’m a lot less fearful of the camera lens, but Azhar is more camera-shy. But Mark and Gemma made us laugh all day long, and Azhar quickly relaxed.

Having Mark and Gemma on the day was just like having two wonderful friends there, who even went out of their way to pop to the local village and bring pastries for breakfast. Our groomsmen and bridesmaids have all said how comfortable they felt on the day, having the very discreet Mark and Gemma around doing what they do best!

Azhar and his groomsmen had a surprise dance routine planned for me, which they had filled Mark in on, so I was a bit confused when he was still there past the agreed end time for photography! Now I know why…and I’m so grateful to him for staying a little longer to capture those memories for us.

You were the easiest decision we made throughout our wedding planning process, and with complete trust, we put capturing our day in yours and your teams’ hands. You are a fantastic bunch and we cannot thank you beautiful people enough.

Lots of love,

Alexandra & Azhar
