“You’ve seen us grow & been there to capture these moments. Never for a minute would I have thought a photo shoot would turn into a story. You’re amazing Elizabeth & we can’t thank you enough.” -Karen
Christian and Karen are by far my most photographed couple yet. They’ve become somewhat a celebrity couple here on my site. A shot of them at sunset graces my front page.
Christian & Karen love deeply and I love them for this.
Their Valentine’s Day wedding couldn’t have been more perfectly planned. There’s no better day for a couple like these two to say their vows, to bring their two families together. Their kids were a beautiful part of the day and when I think back, I can hardly remember that it was even winter. The memories are warm.
The day started with a most glorious and promising sunrise. My photographer, Mark, was on his way to meet the guys when he saw a beautiful wild forest pony grazing in the warm light. He sent me the shot on my phone and I knew no matter what this this was going to be an incredible day.
Karen got ready with her daughters. Lots of laughter, tears, dancing and all around girlyness.
Christian got ready with his son. They decorated the car and drove together like the friends they are.
From the ceremony to the first dance, the day was perfect and we could tell that they were enjoying it as much as they hoped they would. At one point, Karen found out that a friend was expecting a baby and we caught the moment on camera.
Thank you, Christian & Karen, for allowing me to be the lucky photographer to get to tell the story of your day.
