Corporate DEI seminar event photography

I photograph events with the same goal as any other shoot—to capture the excitement and vibrant energy so that it can connect with those who couldn’t be there.

Gracie May Photography (the site you’re on right now) is just one of my photography businesses. I also own Wheelhaus Media through which I provide corporate clients and organizations photography for live events. This often means I’m photographing conferences, conventions, seminars, and—in the case of this event—lunch meetings.

One of my repeat clients, OneDigital, requested that I photograph a lunch meeting they were holding on the topic of DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion). Photographing these events is important for a few reasons:

  1. It captures the event for posterity
  2. It creates a stock of assets that can be used to promote future events through intranet, emails, or flyers.
  3. It adds to the organization’s stock library in general and this means they don’t have to keep using the same royalty-free stock we all see used on repeat.
  4. It captures the event so that it can be shared with others who couldn’t be there.

I’m honored that I seem to always get requests to cover events for corporate clients that aren’t just events. They always seem to be for causes and subjects that matter the most to me be it pride, disability advocacy, or DEI.
