Orlando restaurants for your post-elopement celebration

As Orlando’s most popular elopement photographer, I get asked by my couples often where they should eat after their courthouse wedding or elopement. Whether it’s just the two of you or a few of you, these are my favorite Orlando restaurant recommendations for a celebration.

Mamak Asian Street Food $

Mamak Asian Street Food is so goooood. Located in the Mills 50 district of Orlando, Mamak offers a vibrant atmosphere and authentic Malaysian-inspired street food that’s perfect for a fun, lively post-elopement meal. It’s a great choice for couples who love to explore diverse flavors and small plates.

  • Average Cost: Expect to pay around $20-$30 per person for a fulfilling meal with a few shared dishes.
  • Hours: Open Monday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday and Saturday 11am-11pm, and Sunday 12-10pm.

Domu $ (Michelin Bib Gourmand)

Around these parts, Domu is a very popular ramen spot with a funky, modern vibe and a fantastic reputation. Located in the Audubon Park neighborhood (inside East End Market) and with another location in Dr. Phillips, it’s known for its rich, flavorful broths, house-made noodles, and must-try kimchi butter wings. The energetic atmosphere is perfect for a fun, lively post-elopement meal.

I personally recommend the original location inside the East End Market for the most fun and special feeling post-elopement celebration experience. The Dr Phillips location is in a strip plaza.

  • Michelin Recognition: Domu has been awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide for its high-quality food at a reasonable price.
  • Average Cost: Ramen bowls typically range from $15-$20, so you can easily have a great meal for under $30 per person.
  • Hours: Open for dinner Sunday-Thursday 5-10pm and Friday-Saturday 5-11pm. They also offer brunch on Saturday and Sunday 11am-2:30pm. They do not accept reservations; it’s first-come, first-served.

Seasons 52 $$

Seasons 52 is a chain restaurant that is part of the Darden Group. It’s a fresh grill and wine bar known for its seasonally inspired menu and sophisticated but relaxed ambiance. With two locations in Orlando (one in Dr. Phillips and another in Altamonte Springs), it’s a great option for a post-elopement meal that feels special without being overly formal.

I recommend the Dr. Phillips location and when you make your reservation, ask in the notes to be put in the main dining room or a bar booth to avoid the overflow area which isn’t so nice. If you note that it’s a celebration, they’ll give you free dessert!

I highly recommend the grilled artichokes starter if it’s on the menu. My mouth is watering just typing that!

  • Average Cost: This is a more affordable fine-dining option, with dinner prices typically ranging from $40-$60 per person.
  • Hours: Open daily for lunch and dinner. Sunday-Thursday from 11:30am-10pm and Friday-Saturday from 11:30am-11pm.

The Ravenous Pig $$ (Michelin Bib Gourmand)

My personal favorite is The Ravenous Pig, a gastropub with an incredible reputation and menu. In fact, that’s where my party of 13 people went after my own courthouse elopement!

Located in Winter Park, The Ravenous Pig is a culinary gem known for its upscale gastropub fare and an impressive selection of craft beers brewed in-house. The ambiance is sophisticated yet relaxed, with a beautiful outdoor patio that provides a perfect backdrop for a celebratory meal. The menu, which changes seasonally, focuses on high-quality, locally sourced ingredients.

If you have fewer than 10 guests, you can request the brewery room and eat inside the brewery which is cool.

  • Michelin Recognition: The Ravenous Pig has been awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide for its high-quality food at a reasonable price.
  • Average Cost: Expect to pay around $50-$75 per person for a full dinner with drinks.
  • Hours: Closed on Mondays. Open Tuesday-Thursday 4-10pm, Friday 4-11pm, Saturday 11am-11:00pm, and Sunday 11am-9:30pm. Dinner is served starting at 5. On Saturday and Sunday, brunch is served 11am-3pm.

Tip: During your reservation, it’ll ask if you want to have a custom menu on the table and they print them for free. The one I had printed with “We’re the Millars” for our wedding dinner.

The Boheme $$

Located inside the Grand Bohemian Hotel Orlando, The Boheme offers a vibrant and artistic atmosphere. The dining room is adorned with beautiful artwork and stylish decor, providing a sophisticated and eclectic backdrop for your celebration. The menu features a diverse range of contemporary American dishes with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. The Boheme is an ideal choice for couples who appreciate art, unique design, and a lively, upscale dining experience.

  • Average Cost: Dinner prices can be around $60-$90 per person, depending on your selections.
  • Hours: Open for dinner Monday-Saturday 5:30-10pm, and Sunday 5-9pm. Lunch is served daily 11am-2pm, and a Sunday Jazz Brunch is available 11am-2pm.

This one is an unconventional idea for a celebratory dinner but if you’re a quirky couple who doesn’t mind standing side-by-side while you eat the best sushi of your life, Edoboy is fun and memorable. It’s not the easiest to get into but if you can get in on your desired date, count yourselves lucky!

Edoboy is a standing sushi bar with just 8 diners at each sitting. It’s in the Mills 50 neighborhood of Orlando and provides an intimate and lively atmosphere where chefs prepare each piece of nigiri right in front of you. It’s an exciting and memorable spot for a couple who wants to celebrate with exceptional sushi without a formal sit-down dinner.

Dining slots are limited to 1 hour and, to maintain the efficiency, Edoboy has a strict limit on the number of pieces you can order. Guests are limited to a maximum of 12 pieces of sushi or hand rolls per person.

  • Michelin Recognition: Edoboy has been recognized by the Michelin Guide as a Recommended restaurant.
  • Average Cost: Pricing is à la carte, with an average dinner costing around $45-$60 per person, but you control what you spend.
  • Hours: Open Thursday through Monday, with reservations required. It’s a bit difficult to get into because, unlike a typical restaurant where you can book weeks or months in advance, Edoboy operates on a weekly basis. Time slots are released every Monday at 12PM EST for the current week’s service (Thursday through Monday) Time slots are typically available every hour 4-9pm.

Norman’s $$$

For an elegant and luxurious dining experience, Norman’s is a must-visit. Situated at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, this restaurant offers a sophisticated Latin-inspired menu created by the renowned Chef Norman Van Aken.

The dining room is opulent, providing an intimate and exclusive feel. Norman’s is an excellent choice for a formal and memorable dinner where you can toast to your future with a glass of fine wine and enjoy an exquisite meal.

  • Average Cost: Expect to pay $100+ per person, with main courses often ranging from $40-$60.

Kadence $$$$ (Michelin Star)

This nine-seat sushi and sake bar in Audubon Park offers an Omakase-style menu, which means “I’ll leave it up to you.” The chefs expertly prepare a series of courses that showcase the freshest and most high-quality ingredients available. Dining at Kadence is an immersive and personal experience, making it perfect for a couple who wants to celebrate with a culinary adventure they’ll never forget.
