What started as an elopement for Yesenia & Wendy ended up being a joy-fueled family-focused micro wedding at the Maitland Art Center.
Yesenia & Wendy booked us a year before their elopement date and their plans morphed quite a lot from the original plan of an elopement with just 5 of us (Yesenia, Wendy, their son, my video guy and I).

In the end, this beautiful spring micro wedding happened with their nearest and dearest at the Maitland Art & History Center which is a venue where I’ve done so many micro weddings now (you can see a few here).

The day started with coverage of Yesenia & Wendy getting ready at another place I’ve found myself working often lately—the Grand Bohemian Hotel in downtown Orlando. It’s a chic hotel just 20 minutes from the wedding venue so it’s a great spot to get ready.

We had planned on covering Wendy getting ready as robustly as we did Yesenia, but Wendy was so efficient at getting ready and heading to the venue that we didn’t have time.

They chose to see each other for the first time privately and walking down the aisle together so that’s where their wedding photography and video started in earnest.

After that came the ceremony, family photos, and time with newly married couple. In all, everything fit inside of 3 hours. I’m so so happy with the results and they were, too 📸 💛
