While the Winter Park courthouse isn’t the most photogenic of the Orange County courthouses, they sometimes do weddings on weekends and this makes it convenient and accessible for couples who can’t find the time mid-week.

Destinee and Bryce are young parents who wanted to sneak away and elope before Christmas. They snapped up one of the Winter Park courthouse’s Saturday openings and I met them there to capture their secret wedding.

We then went to the nearby Rollins College campus for some photos in the rain. This was my first time taking photos there and I’m so glad they share their stunning grounds with the public. It’s truly such a special gesture that makes a historic Winter Park location accessible to all kinds of people.
