Samantha and Grant married each other on the fly at Leu Gardens in Orlando while the holiday decorations were up!

There’s usually a 6 month lag time between when I do a session and when you see it appear on my site and social media. But with these holiday shoots at Leu Gardens, I’m trying to get them out there ASAP so you can see what the decorations look like this year and consider whether you also want to take advantage of them for your elopement! The decorations are different every year so if there’s anything here that you just gotta have, you’ll need to jump on it before the end of this month!

Samantha and Grant are a very sweet couple who are having a big Scottish wedding next year (in a castle!) but they wanted to get legally married easily and super low-key. And it doesn’t get any more low-key than having your photographer marry you while she takes the pictures!

All Gracie May Photography photographers are ordained to perform marriage ceremonies although I (Elizabeth) have done the most so far. I really didn’t expect this option to take off as much as it did but of my hundreds of couples this year, I married about 30 of them myself.

This session happened at the end of the day and, even though you won’t catch a real golden hour at Leu Gardens because of their closing times, the pre-golden-hour-hour is equally stunning and I know all the best spots to catch those warm and juicy rays.
