Jessica and Sam invited me to marry them and shoot their Bok Tower elopement. I shot on digital, 35mm and medium format film.

Hard to believe, but Jessica and Sam’s Bok Tower Elopement is the first time I shot at Bok Tower, a stunning, pristine, and popular place to visit in Lake Wales. This location is 1 hour from Disney.

I didn’t just photograph their elopement—I married them in a ceremony on the grounds of El Retiro, the historic mansion located within the grounds. I walked them through their vows and ring exchange. After the ceremony, we spent over an hour taking photos on the grounds and still probably didn’t even hit half of the places we could have done photos.

Bok Tower is immense and incredibly beautiful. Jessica and Sam styled themselves in a way that made them fit right in and worked really well with the warm and earthy style they requested for the editing of their photos.

In addition to shooting with my usual (digital) cameras, I got a few shots on film with a 35mm film Canon and a medium format Hasselblad.

It was an incredible honor to have been invited to join Jessica and Sam, help them get married, and capture it all. I hope it’s just the first of many shoots at Bok Tower.
