Hannibal Square elopement in Winter Park

This session was shot by GMP founder and Principal Photographer Elizabeth Millar who also officiated their marriage ceremony

I officiated for and photographed Lauren & Logan’s elopement in Winter Park

Being in Orlando is so perfect for an elopement photographer like me. People come from all over the world to play here and get married while they’re at it. Lauren & Logan didn’t have far to travel but they came up to Orlando from South Florida to celebrate their anniversary and elope.

We originally planned their marriage ceremony and photo shoot for the grounds at Rollins College. They wanted to do it in Winter Park and that seemed like a good spot.

Before the session, my sons (who were coming along to do some behind the scenes video for me) convinced me that we needed to get chicken at Jam Hot Chicken in Hannibal Square and oh my goodness what a little gem of a location.

I’ve never even heard of it but it’s a dream for people looking for a colorful, pristine, and highly Instagram-worthy location for their photos.

I asked if they wanted to meet me there instead and they were down so we did the whole thing in that neighborhood and discovered some of the most incredible nooks and crannies in Winter Park. I really think this is a hidden gem for photo shoots and I’ll absolutely be back again!
