As Orlando’s busiest micro wedding photographer, I’ve shot at most of Orlando’s most notoriously fun and beautiful locations. One of the venues I’m asked about the most is Disney World. Disney Springs in particular. This post is a Q&A spilling everything I know about getting married at Disney Springs Orlando.
If you’re looking for some examples of wedding photos at Disney, you can find a few of the weddings I’ve done there here.
Yes! Disney Springs is a great life hack for a Disney wedding on a budget.
How much it costs to get married at Disney Springs depends on which venue you book. If you’re having a micro wedding with 50 guests or less, Paddlefish Restaurant or Summer House On The Lake are two great restaurants to consider. Paddlefish is the best option if you’re on a budget and also the best option if you are planning on an elopement with no guests or a few guests but no food. Their lowest rate is $500 to book the deck for 20 guests or less. I believe that Summer House has a $4k minimum food/drink order to book private dining but you can check with them here to get up to date details. You can enquire with Paddlefish here.
If you’re looking to get married at Disney Springs with a micro wedding or elopement, you’ll need to schedule with a venue. Two that I know of are Paddlefish Restaurant and Summer House On The Lake. My understanding is that Paddlefish is the best option if you’re on a budget and also the best option if you are planning on an elopement with no guests or a few guests but no food. I’ve had a couple tell me it cost them $500 to book the deck with Paddlefish and another couple told me that Summer House has a $4k minimum food/drink order to book private dining.
Yes! Once you’ve booked with a venue (see the section above) that unlocks the permission required to go around Disney Springs with your photographer taking photos. It’s important to note that their one rule is that you can’t stop the flow of foot traffic so you’ll need to take photos in the right areas and have a photographer skilled at removing people from photos.
No no noooooo. Disney are very strict on outside photographers which is why getting married at Disney Springs is such a great opportunity for a Disney wedding on a budget.
No, you cannot wear your wedding clothes in the Disney parks but none of my clients have had an issue getting through security at Disney Springs as they head to their micro wedding venue (for example Paddlefish Restaurant) wearing their wedding clothes. I recommend checking that the rules haven’t changed before you arrive.
