I married and photographed Samantha and Trey for their elopement at Leu Gardens.

When I learned how to be an officiant and marry people in Florida, I didn’t really think it was gonna take off like it has. Samantha & Trey are the 11th couple I’ve married since I started doing this just 6 months ago.

We met early when Leu Gardens opened because it’s just so dang hot in June. I married them in the rose garden and kicked it with them, her mom, and his daughter while we explored the gardens and took pictures.

In a strange turn of events, I photographed everyone on their own except the bride (!) so we met again a couple of weeks later for some dedicated time for bridal portraits and it was interesting because more than once, Samantha said that day had been a blur and taking these photos later on helped her savor the experience a little bit more.

We also got some incredible shots of her so all’s well that ends well!
