On 9/29, I did 3 weddings back-to-back at the Orange County Courthouse in downtown Orlando. First up…Sam & Samantha!

Sam and Sam have been together since they were kiddos in school. They’re Brits who love Florida and they met me at the courthouse just hours after arriving for their Disney vacay.

Like many, the first thing they wanted me to know was that they felt very anxious about having their photos done. I get it. I’d much rather be behind the camera because the lens can feel like a big prying eyeball.

As a person-centered photographer, I always appreciate knowing when clients feel less than comfortable heading into our time together because it gives me an opportunity to fine-tune how I approach our time. This affects how I direct you and the poses I use (or no poses at all).
