After Natalie & Elmore’s Sanford Courthouse Wedding, we headed to Big Tree Park and I’m so glad we did.

Natalie & Elmore’s Sanford Courthouse wedding was a wonderful follow-up to my 100th courthouse wedding. It was a perfectly warm winter day. My favorite thing about weddings at the Seminole County Courthouse is that they’ll perform marriage ceremonies outside.

Sanford is the only courthouse I’ve encountered where they’ll do this for couples and thank goodness because, bless their hearts, these courthouses don’t have the best decor. So if the aesthetics dring your ceremony matter to you, you might want to consider getting married in Sanford.

The main downside of the Sanford Courthouse is that there isn’t much going on in the area so I wanted to find a second location to take photos with couples. Big Tree Park is just a couple of miles away and a sweet little spot to get out in nature.

Natalie & Elmore saved their champagne spray for the park and I also got to spend some time photographing their daughters which was the best surprise of the whole thing because damn they’re so photogenic.
