Brianna and Kiery have the sweetest story. I often get the pleasure of shooting weddings for couples who are childhood sweethearts and it makes me cry every single time.

This sweet couple have been best friends since 6th grade. They likely met in chorus class, but neither of them can remember exactly. Kiery liked Brianna first and they officially began their relationship after high school graduation.

Like many modern couples, they’re currently long distance while Brianna completes her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and Kiery is in Florida getting his pharmacy degree.

A very touching moment during our time together was Brianna & Kiery speaking their personalized vows to each other in the ceremony room at the courthouse. I cried so hard I couldn’t see through my viewfinder. There’s something endearing about reading vows from actual paper rather than a phone screen. I highly recommend writing your vows on paper.

After their ceremony at the Orange County courthouse in downtown Orlando, we went to the Thornton Park side of Lake Eola for our photo walk together.
