Seminole County Photographer // Criminal Justice Courthouse Wedding

Just before Thanksgiving, I shot my second wedding at the Seminole County Criminal Justice Courthouse in Sanford.

Jen and James hired me to cover their micro-wedding at the Seminole County Criminal Justice Courthouse in Sanford and it was my first two-county double-header. I did Tamia and Tavares’ courthouse wedding in Orange County and then rushed over to Seminole County to meet Jen and James.

When I asked why they chose me, Jen said that my style was exactly what they were looking for and they mentioned photos from Sam & Allen’s courthouse wedding. From that, I could tell that they wanted the look of warm earthy tones rather than bright and colorful.

Their ceremony was a bit late in the day for the winter and it was cloudy so we were racing against the clock to get everything they needed while the light was good.

This was my second wedding at this courthouse and I learned that you can request to have your ceremony outdoors which was really a treat because this location doesn’t have the best looking ceremony space.

Jen and James got hitched right there in front of the courthouse and I couldn’t be happier with the photos we achieved in such a small window of time.
