Golden hour elopement in Baldwin Park

This session was shot by GMP founder and Principal Photographer Elizabeth Millar who also officiated their marriage ceremony

Danica and Brenton had me marry and photograph them during their golden hour elopement in Baldwin Park

Note: this couple requested my bright and fresh editing style

Danica and Brenton were one of the 14 couples I married while photographing in 2024. They chose golden hour as their time and Blue Jacket Park in Baldwin Park as their location.

They brought the most adorable trappings of a wedding including 2 different cakes, champagne, and details like bespoke vow books and custom champagne glasses.

A note about the cakes…they ordered them online from Goldbelly. Brenton’s cannoli cake was from Ferrera Bakery in NYC and Danica’s gluten free, vegan carrot cake was from Daisy Cakes in South Carolina. I took it upon myself to provide an unbiased taste test (just an added service I can provide) and can confirm the carrot cake was the winner. It was INCREDIBLE.

Blue Jacket Park is a pristine and elevated location to meet for wedding photos, be they after your ceremony somewhere else, or for an elopement with just the two of you like these two decided to do.

Thank you so much for having me, Danica and Brenton. It was an honor to be invited to be such a vital part of your important day.
