Buckle in because this couple I married and photographed in Winter Park is the sweetest.
I love second-time-around love. Getting married while young, there’s a lot of pressure to have babies, establish careers, get on the property ladder, and become who you’re going to be in tandem with another person. So many couples do it well. I was married the first time at age 18 and we were married for 18 years. But you know what he didn’t want me to change grow and I grew out of the pot I was in.

Because of this experience, I know the joy of finding the one my soul loves at an age where I know who I am, I’ve had all my babies, and this love is just for us. It feels like a rebirth. A gift you didn’t dream you’d ever receive. The most wonderful of surprises.

When I get to support young couples with all the hope in the world, it’s special because I was in their shoes once. And when I get to support couples like Brandyn & James, it’s extra special because I’m in their same shoes now. It’s so extremely special.

I met Brandyn and James for their first look in front of Park Avenue Tavern where they met the first time for their first date. This time, she walked toward him to say “I do” and my heart is exploding at the memory of that sweet moment.

Being licensed to marry folks in Florida, I officiated their marriage while taking the photos. We met early in the morning before Winter Park was awake and I married them in front of Rifle Paper Co. and their cute ass floral windows 💐

In their pre-booking questionnaire, these two told me they’re vinyl collectors and music is a big part of their relationship so I encouraged them to bring some albums that have meaning to them and I love those photos I got!

Kickin’ it with these two and their teenagers was so fun. I’d rate this wedding 10/10 would do again ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
