Melissa and Nicholas had a fun and classy micro wedding at The Wellborn in downtown Orlando.

When Melissa and Nicholas first reached out, they were planning for their micro wedding to be held at Leu Gardens. While I love Leu Gardens, I’ve done many many weddings there now and I gotta say…experiencing a new venue really gets me going. So when they let me know that they’d changed their venue to have their micro wedding at The Wellborn in downtown Orlando.

The Wellborn is a tucked-away gem in a charming garden setting in the heart of Downtown Orlando and if you’re an Orlando native on Instagram, you may have seen this trendy and popular spot often.

To kick things off, Melissa and Nicholas had their ceremony in their courtyard which is a luscious garden haven amongst ageless trees against the historic I.W. Phillips House.

After, they hosted their family and friends upstairs in the Phillips House for small bites, delicious cocktails, loud music, shots, dancing, and every other ingredient you need for a rockin party.

Every crowd is different. Some are too chill to get down on the dance floor. But this was not that kind of crowd. They danced non stop for all the time I was there and this made my job capturing the vibes pretty dang easy and enjoyable.
