I’ve been photographing Elizabeth for a number of years. You may recognize her as the ballerina from this shoot which gained a lot of interest at the time.
I’ve known Elizabeth since the very hour she was born. I was there when her mother’s water broke and I was there an hour after she came. She was my son, Elijah’s, first friend and I’ve been through a lot with her parents who moved here from Russia many years ago.
So, watching her grow into the woman she’s becoming is particularly special since I get to do the watching through my camera lens.
Once in a while, I pick her up and take her somewhere and we take pictures. I needed to go do some location scouting and test-shooting for this fashion shoot, so I grabbed Elizabeth and took her to the Owl’s Attic in Winter Park.
