Indian River County Courthouse Elopement Wedding in May

This session was shot by GMP founder and Principal Photographer Elizabeth Millar

Kadison and Phil eloped with their pastor officiating outside of the Indian River County courthouse

When you get married at a courthouse or clerk’s office, the only people who can marry you are clerks or judges. Kadison and Phil wanted to get married at the courthouse, but have their family pastor officiate. So, that’s what we did!

They had their ceremony outside in their courtyard as it neared the end of the day although we did have a few minutes to take photos inside when they dropped off their license just before closing time. It was May so it was getting warm but our faces weren’t melting off just yet so everyone was very happy and comfortable.

It was my first time working at the Indian River County Courthouse and I loved it. Like the Orlando courthouse, they have a great view from the parking garage rooftop.

We were able to squeeze in a champagne spray and cake cutting. It was such an excellent time and I felt so fortunate to have been involved. Thank you for having me, Kadison and Phil!
