Orlando backyard wedding with Kelly’s Ice Cream

One of my favorite types of micro weddings is backyard weddings. This is Elisa & Jeff’s Orlando backyard wedding.

I’m often asked if I’ve ever done a backyard wedding. I’ve done loads and loved them all. Getting the opportunity to capture these relaxed events is always an honor. Because they’re so small and intimate, you really want a photographer who is experienced at taking photos in tight spots and being stealthy.

You don’t want someone who will be obvious and in the way. I’m very compact and can hide out in a corner pretty easily. This means I can capture every laugh.

Elisa and Jeff’s backyard wedding happened at their home in Orlando. They had good music, good food, and great people. Something I loved about their event was that they prioritized small and local businesses. There was food from Lake Meadow Naturals, flowers from Farm Nine, and Kelly’s Ice Cream.

The Kelly’s Ice Cream cart was a very nice touch. They came and set up toward the end of the night and offered three flavors for folks to snack on. I personally love the banana pudding.

Elisa and Jeff have a few precious fur babies who were involved. One in particular the star of the show. I can’t remember his name but he’s 18 years old! He wore a wittle tux and everything 🥹

Thank you so much for having me, Elisa and Jeff. 📸 💛
