Shelbee & Ricki were married in a tender, emotional micro wedding with their family and friends in attendance at Kelly Park in Apopka, Florida
Note: this couple requested my warm and earthy editing style

In their first email to me, Shelbee and Ricki said, “Looking at your photos convinced us that we want our wedding at Kelly Park!” After my first wedding at Kelly Park (aka “Rock Springs”), I’ve had SO many inquiries about this location and done many sessions there. And I get it—it’s such a breathtaking location.

I grew up in Central Florida and spent my childhood summers at Kelly Park. So I can’t remember what it was like to see this location for the first time. I wish I knew what that feels like because when many of my clients see photos there, it stops them in their tracks and they often completely change their plans so they can get married there.

“We’re actually so stupidly happy and in love it would be disgusting if it weren’t the best thing to ever happen to me.” -Shelbee
We started with a first look down on “the big rock” at the spring head where they touched each other back-to-back before they turned to look at each other. So sweet.

While I solemnized their marriage as an officiant, the ceremony was lovingly performed by their dear friend Claudia who did such an incredible job delivering just the right amount of energy while keeping the spotlight focused on Shelbee & Ricki.

They had rented a pavilion for their post-ceremony event where they had first dances with their parents, ate chicken and waffles, and partied into the afternoon.
Their family put so much energy into decorating it beautifully. It was so bright and airy and lots of fun to photograph.

Thank you so much for having me, Shelbee & Ricki. It was my pleasure.
