Orange County Courthouse Photographer // Christmas Wedding

Wherever couples choose to tie the knot, I help them celebrate their big day their way. Each wedding I’ve covered at the Orange County Clerk of Courts has been unique.

This week, that unique wedding was for Laura and Eric. I always show up at the front of the courthouse buzzing with excitement to meet my new friends. Sometimes, I follow them inside to cover their ceremony. Often, I’m meeting them after their ceremony and we go on adventures in Downtown Orlando finding great spots for photos. That was the case for Laura and Eric.

“We met on OK Cupid just before Covid. We liked each other so we decided to quarantine together and just never left!” -Laura

I take pride in my ability to make each courthouse wedding look unique. The photos outside the courthouse building are always similar, but around Downtown Orlando there are endless possibilities for areas to shoot if we take a different route every time.

This time, I said, “let’s go right!” and found spots I never knew existed. Like the ACE Cafe (a biker bar) and railroad tracks with the city in the background. It was a really fun time and we accomplished all this in just 30 minutes while in the rain!
