Orange County Courthouse Photographer // Gabrielle & Tyler

I adore a Christmas wedding. And I adore a courthouse elopement. Gabrielle & Tyler gave me both when they had me as their photographer in December for their Christmas elopement at the Orange County Courthouse in Orlando.

The exterior of the courthouse is big and bold, like the people who choose to get married inside and brush off the expectations to throw a big shindig. Don’t get me wrong – my heart flutters for a large friends-and-family wedding. And I also admire couples who go it alone and mark the day with just the three of us.

Downtown Orlando is full of great spots for shooting after the ceremony and with so many places to shoot, every couple who gets married Downtown can have photos unique from everyone else I work with.

Gabrielle’s dress was very mid-century classic so I was excited to get her under the sign for LaBelle Furs which has been on N. Orange Ave since 1957! I think they looked adorable there and that pop of yellow is ??

As always, I look forward to my next Courthouse Wedding or elopement. Please, 2019, give me more!
