Classic sophistication of black tie at the Orlando courthouse

There is a timeless power in a black-and-white color palette for an elevated elopement. For Janel and Daniel, this classic styling wasn’t just a choice—it was a statement. In a world of fleeting trends, they opted for an aesthetic that felt both incredibly modern and deeply rooted in tradition. Their wedding at the Orange County Courthouse was a beautiful example of how to do simple with an immense amount of class.

In an era dominated by dating apps, Janel and Daniel met the old fashioned way when he slid into her Instagram DMs. That digital spark ignited something permanent. Surrounded by their closest family and a handful of friends who traveled from out of town to witness their union, they celebrated a day that prioritized people over production and love over the logistics of a big wedding.

The couple requested my warm and earthy editing style, which provided a stunning compliment to their crisp black-and-white styling. This moody warmth brought a soulful, high-end feel to the administrative halls of the courthouse.

While we spent a significant portion of our time capturing the joy of their loved ones—including some truly poignant moments with their families—we still made sure to carve out space for an editorial suite of Mr. and Mrs. portraits around the courthouse building and nearby streets.

Because this was a December elopement, we were able to incorporate the festive holiday decorations outside the courthouse.
Thank you so much for having me, Janel and Daniel, it was my pleasure.
