Oh my. Victoria and Paolo’s Tampa courthouse wedding was so much fun.
When Victoria hired me to cover their Tampa courthouse wedding, she said, “We’re both pretty shy but overall we just want to have fun.”
My experience of these two was definitely not what I would call “shy”. They were incredibly energetic, fun, and adorable. Many people say they’re not natural in front of the camera and mostly, that’s true. I’m not, either. That’s why I give very detailed posing instructions to make sure your body language matches your personality. I want you to see your photos and feel that you look how you felt at that moment.
That said, Victoria and Paolo were in the minority of people I’ve photographed whose natural body language translates incredibly well on camera with very little instruction. This, I’d say, is the definition of “photogenic”. I’m very jealous.
They got married at the Hillsborough County Courthouse in downtown Tampa. There are a couple of different legal buildings in the same area. This is the courthouse located on Pierce Street. We didn’t go far for their post-ceremony photos because the area immediately outside of the courthouse is so beautiful and great on camera.
Thank you, Victoria and Paolo, for having me as your photographer. It was truly worth the drive!
