Astrid and Jorge married each other on a Winter Park side street in Hannibal Square

Weddings really can take any and all shapes and sizes and this elopement in Winter Park proves it. Astrid and Jorge didn’t spend six figures (or even five!) on their wedding day. They pulled together the only ingredients they needed to make it feel meaningful and special and Elijah and I were there to capture it all with photography and video.

Astrid had seen some other couples of mine elope on this very stoop on a Winter Park residential side street so they decided to do it, too. With their parents, siblings, and fur baby as witnesses, Astrid’s brother guided them through exchanging vows and rings and saying “I do” before declaring them husband and wife.

We then did family photos, a champagne spray, and their photo session around downtown before they went off for their reception dinner.
