I married and photographed Felix & Ginarys for their Autumn elopement at Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park

As we near the end of 2025, I’ve married 30 couples during their photo sessions with me this year. Feliz and Ginarys are one of those lovely couples who trusted me with both their marriage ceremony and photography at Kraft Azalea Garden in Winter Park, a very popular Central Florida location for weddings, elopements, and photo sessions of all kinds.

Kraft Azalea is stunning at all times of the year. I’ve done elopements and photo sessions during sunrise, high noon and sunset and there is always an area with perfect light and shade for photos.
Felix and Ginarys did their elopement from 1-3pm and while normally, nothing beats golden hours whether they be sunrise or sunset, in the late autumn and winter, even at 1pm the light is perfection. Diffused, glowing, even lighting with perfect brightness.

While waiting for Felix to arrive, I did Ginarys’s photos with her family and then caught the moment Felix arrived and saw her for the first time. We went straight into their marriage ceremony and then they did their vows privately under the trees during their photo session.

One reason couples decide to have casual elopements versus weddings in venues is that they want to include their fur babies and, while it can be challenging because they’re often extremely worked up with all the excitement of unusual people and places, I’m a total dog person so I don’t mind the chaos and find it so rewarding when we get the shot.

At the end of their photo session, we rejoined their family for photos before seeing them off to go enjoy their wedding dinner. Thank you so much for having me, Felix and Ginarys, it was so very much my pleasure.
