As an associate photographer, Angelina acts as the primary photographer for sessions, taking on the lead role under my company’s umbrella in the style that Gracie May Photography is known for. She shoots and I edit.

It’s important in the photography world to have colleagues we can lean on for friendship, support, and an extra pair of talented eyes when we need them.

While it’s easy to make friends with other photographers, it’s not easy to trust them all with my clients. I understand that you come to me trusting that you will get the same level of work that you’ve seen on this website and on my Instagram. I take this so seriously and bring the same level of dedication and enthusiasm to every session. So trusting another photographer to show up fully the way I would isn’t easy.

I’ve known Angelina since we were young women trying to make our way in the world. She became a photographer shortly after me and I followed her journey for years from afar. When it came time to add another member to my team, it was a no brainer!

How does it work?

How this works is I onboard you as a client of mine, I collect all the info, answer all of your questions, manage your booking, and communicate with you. I brief Angie on everything she needs to know about all of the conversations we’ve had, the info from your questionnaire, and any inspiration pictures you’ve shared. Angelina shows up to shoot your session and then transfers the files to me. I edit in your selected editing style and deliver them to you myself!

Some things you should know

The most important thing to know about working with me in this way is that Angelina doesn’t do any of the admin or client interactions until it’s time for the photo shoot. Client comms are a form of labor and I am only paying for her time to shoot the session. So until it’s time for your session, you’ll be connecting with me just as if it were me shooting for you.
