Oh how I love getting to discover new locations for the first time. I certainly hope there will be more micro weddings for me at Citywalk because I loved working with Stephen & Nikki for their Hard Rock Cafe Orlando micro wedding.

I allow my clients to choose a preferred editing style for their photos. This couple chose my warm and earthy style.

I was so excited when Nikki got in touch to tell me that they were traveling to Orlando from the UK for their micro wedding at the Hard Rock Cafe at Citywalk. This is a Universal Studios property that’s like the Universal Studios version of Disney Springs.

In total, Nikki & Stephen’s micro wedding was 2 hours and took place in the John Lennon suite which is a bright classy space at the Hard Rock with a balcony for ceremonies (and awesome photos).

There are a lot of incredible pieces of John Lennon memorabilia and a piano that has autographs of different music legends on each key including Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, Elton John, and Fats Domino.

While they were hoping for sun, the weather was windy, cold, and moody. I can roll with any kind of lighting, but this is always a treat because because it makes it easy to shoot anywhere we want from any direction without worrying about gnarly shadows and overly bright sunlight that stops us from picking a certain spot.

Nikki planned some really great details for their micro wedding like her custom Converse shoes with her new married name on the laces and tissue packs branded with their wedding date.
