I love getting to discover new venues for micro weddings in the Orlando area. In this post, I introduce you to an excellent option for a restaurant based micro wedding: The Osprey in Baldwin Park.
As Orlando’s busiest micro wedding photographer, I’ve visited (and re-visited) a great many venues in the Central Florida Area. Once in a while, I discover a new gem like The Osprey in Baldwin Park.
I felt right at home in the rich, eclectic, and maximalist interior design at the Osprey. I would absolutely have my own micro wedding here and, at the very least, will be coming back to have dinner (the fish and chips were flawless) 🤤
Alex & Clay are a lovely couple who first met 2 decades ago and, as it sometimes does, life took them in different directions. They were originally going to have me only cover their courthouse wedding but The Osprey offered for them to have their ceremony there as well so we shifted plans.
They partitioned off the sections at the back of the restaurant for the party. The rest of the place filled up very fast as soon as they opened (there were tons of people waiting outside for them to open for dinner).
It was a tight and cozy space for all of their guests and we had to squeeze small group shots in somewhere, but I think that made them feel less forced and more natural with everyone and everything else going on in the background.
It was a lovely 3 hours spent witnessing and capturing the love between Alex, Clay, and their nearest and dearest.
