For special needs families, these are more than just photos. I’ve been a special needs photographer working with kids and families with visible and invisible disabilities, neurodiversity, and special needs since 2008.

Margaret got in touch a few months ago to book a session while their family was all together on vacation in Anna Maria Island on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Their granddaughter has autism and she found me through my work photographing special needs kiddos.
Anna Maria Island is a couple of hours from where I’m based in Central Florida, but so worth the trip to connect with this gorgeous extended family.
When I do sessions with extended families, I shoot each family separately, the couples, the kids, and then everyone together. In all, we were together for just under an hour and the final product was delivery of 116 final edits.
